We Round Up So You Don't Have To: Work Sharp's Conservation Commitment

You've probably been asked at checkout if you'd like to "round up your purchase" to support a cause. At Work Sharp, we asked ourselves what we would want as customers, and the answer was simple: it makes more sense for businesses to take that step. So, instead of putting the ask back on you, we've decided to do the rounding up ourselves.

Work Sharp is committed to investing in wild places and wild things; supporting the lands, waters, and wildlife that inspires and supports us. That's why we contribute $0.05 for every sharpener sold globally to support conservation efforts. In 2024, that has added up to over $50,000 donated to The Mule Deer Foundation. These funds are helping restore and protect critical habitats for mule deer and black-tailed deer, keeping their ecosystems healthy and vibrant.

We don't just stop at writing checks. We believe in getting involved, so we partnered with The Mule Deer Foundation and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, putting our boots on the ground for hands-on habitat restoration projects. Through projects we see firsthand the impact we can have and can begin to advocate for healthy management and stewardship of our shared resources.
