AWARD WINNING PRECISION SHARPENING

The Professional Precision Adjust™ Knife Sharpener is a benchtop sharpening system built for serious consistency — no guesswork required. Micro-adjustable angle settings from 15°–30°, a fully metal build, and a comprehensive abrasive kit deliver razor-sharp, repeatable results across every blade you own.

DIAL IN YOUR EDGE WITH CONFIDENCE

Digital Angle Indicator – sets your sharpening angle to within 0.25° every time. Choose any angle between 15° and 30° and return to it consistently, session after session, with zero guesswork.

Continuous angle adjustment – the metal sharpening frame adjusts smoothly from 15° to 30°, covering everything from thin Japanese-style edges to robust outdoor blades without swapping out components.

Full range of abrasives – seven 1" × 6" diamond abrasives from 220 to 800 grit, plus a ceramic rod, fine ceramic stone, and leather strop let you repair damaged edges, refine them, and finish to a polished, razor-sharp result in one session.

Metal V-Block Clamp – securely and repeatably holds the blade in position throughout sharpening. Rigid metal construction eliminates flex and keeps the knife locked at the correct angle.

Clamp Stabilizer platform – provides increased stability when working with larger knives, reducing movement and improving control over the full length of the blade.

Small knife table attachment – extends the system to sharpen pen knives and small blades down to 15°, covering the full range of common blade sizes in one kit.

Weighted, stable base – keeps the entire system planted on the benchtop for safe, controlled sharpening on every stroke.

3-year warranty – the Professional Precision Adjust is built for long-term use and backed with confidence. Want even more capability? Upgrade to the Elite model with expanded abrasives and a premium case.

FAQs

What makes this different from the other Precision Adjust models?

The original Precision Adjust suits casual users who want consistent, guided sharpening with a simple three-abrasive setup. The Precision Adjust Elite adds seven abrasives and a carry case for enthusiasts. The Professional Precision Adjust is built for serious users — it features larger, longer-lasting abrasives and a fully metal base and clamp for improved durability and stability. The Professional Elite combines the all-metal build with the full Elite abrasive kit, including resin-bonded diamond plates, for maximum sharpening range and longevity.

Is this sharpener beginner friendly?

Yes. The guided system removes most of the guesswork from sharpening. Even without prior experience, the angle indicator and clamp make it straightforward to get consistently sharp results with minimal practice.

What is the maximum knife size this sharpener can handle?

The clamp secures knives up to 1/4" thick with blades up to 15" long. For longer blades, sharpen in sections by re-clamping along the length of the edge. An 8" blade sharpens easily in one pass; a 10" chef's knife is possible but more efficient when worked in sections.

Can I buy replacement parts and accessories?

Yes. Replacement abrasives are available for all included stones. You can also purchase accessories including an upgrade kit with resin-bonded stones, premium leather strop, universal handle, and carry case.

Do I need to use oil or water?

No. This sharpener is designed to be used dry. Oil can cause oxidation. If water is introduced, dry the sharpener as quickly as possible to prevent any damage.

How many sharpenings can I get from the abrasives?

It varies depending on blade size, steel hardness, condition, and pressure used. In testing, approximately 75–100 sharpenings per abrasive set is typical. All abrasives are removable and replaceable, so the sharpener itself won't wear out over time.

What is the longest blade that can be sharpened without re-clamping it?

Only approximately 2½" of the abrasive contacts the blade at a time, so blades over 8" are best sharpened in sections. Re-clamp along the edge and use the up-and-down stroke shown in the manual for even coverage.

Is it made for kitchen or pocket knives?

Both. The standard V-Block Clamp works well for kitchen knives, and the included small knife table handles pocket knives and pen knives down to 15°. It comfortably holds and sharpens blades up to 8" in a single pass.

What are the grits of the resin-bonded stones?

The resin-bonded stones are approximately 1200 grit (20–28 µm), 2000 grit (14–20 µm), and 3000 grit (5–10 µm). Because they're resin-bonded, they cut more smoothly than electroplated diamond stones of the same grit rating.

Does the strop come preloaded?

No. The strop comes plain, allowing you to apply the stropping compound of your choice based on your sharpening preferences.
