This thing is great..compact...light...but offers a big package in small platform! Works great for bringing back your edge after hard use in the field or just to hone up your edge on every day uses..recommend highly!!

Perfect size and overall good sharpener!
I would prefer a ceramic on the one side and a leather strap on the other. (Like the Benchmade version that you can't seem to get anymore.)

Love this handy little sharpening device.
PROs: Slips into my pocket or my pack. It’s so small and light, perfect for EDC. Sharpened my small Swiss Army knife from dull to shaving sharp in under 2 minutes. Ideal for small blades and (while, in my hands, good, but not perfect for medium sized plain edged blades), it is a handy sharpener to have with you on a daily basis for small and medium sized blades, as well as for “touch-ups” on scissors.
CONs: Not ideal for serrated blades or larger plain-edged blades, but that is why I own a Work Sharp Rolling Sharpener, a Professional Precision Adjust Sharpener, and my own tapered diamond and ceramic rods.
Suggestion: it would be helpful if, in the future, Work Sharp could incorporate tapered diamond and/or ceramic rods (like in the Angle Set Sharpener) for use on blades with serrations, with the Folding Field Sharpeners while “on the go.”😀

I had the field sharpener, which is also a great tool, stuffed into one of my smaller packs but with this, I was able to add a few more fire starting essentials. Any serious knife person should have this on them at all times because ya just never know.
You can see how little room it takes up in my baby go bag. May have to get a few more of these for other bags and/or to give as Christmas gifts.

This product is awesome, its so compact it disappears in your pocket or bag. Yet its big enough for the task. This makes maintaining your edges simple and easy. 10/10 i recommend this.

The delivery time from placing my order to actually receiving the goods was blindingly fast .
The product is well made, regarding its performance.its a little early to judge,as I’ve only sharpened one knife. I will need some time in the field using it.

Compact, sturdy, sharpens as expected for the grit. I’m not a fan of pull-sharpeners and this is more convenient to carry and use than other pocket sharpeners I’ve tried that typically have only one grit (most DMT options), or are pretty fragile (whetstones, butterfly style sharpeners).

It’s a great tool I use to touch up my knives in the woods. The ceramic side is great for quick touch ups while the coarse diamond plate can deal with even the hardest steels like magnacut. I can recommend!

Unbelievable pocket sharpener. Put it up against any other on the market. Be careful once you sharpen. Scary sharp

Received this unit quickly, the unit was packaged nicely. It’s everything that it was described it to be. It is small and portable, and I am looking forward to that, however, if you have a knife that needs a little more than just a light touchup that has a blade length of two or three-quarter inches or longer you’ll really have to concentrate on being able to cover the entire edge of the knife on the ceramic or diamond stone. I understand something like this is for compact and portability purposes, which fits what I needed to do at this point. Seems like Quality Construction, very compact looking forward to using it this season in the back country.

I really like this design as it is nicely done and Affordable, but I would like to see a 1" to 2" increase in length and width of body/diamond stone/ceramic stone so it would be easier to tackle all sizes of knives with ease

I got one of these originally to qualify an order for free shipping. Now I've ordered 3 more and I keep them in cars and bags. This is a great portable form factor. Life Hack - buy the replacement strop for the precision guided sharpened. It has a self stick strip on the back and is an almost perfect fit for the back of the folding sharpener! I'm getting a lot more mileage out of the strop than the diamond or ceramic plates!
