Excellent tool, simple to use, great results

It’s very useful

I'm a hunting guide in Utah and needed a fast way to sharpen a lot my hunting knives. I also own some of the other filed sharpeners made by work sharp and they all work great. I'm use to using the old wet stone and it would take me for ever to sharpen a knife. This was my first time using a powered belt drive knife sharpener. I was so surprised at how fast I was able to sharpen two hunting knives. The MK.2 worked like a champ, If you like sharp knives in your hand this little unit is well worth the value every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Good luck out there and keep your knives sharp. I got this about a week ago and love it. It too my functional EDC and kitchen knives and made them SUPER SHARP. I watched a few of the “how to” videos and it was easy to use.

So far I’m very happy w the Ken onion version. I’ve had the gen 1 worksharp for over ten years and I was quite comfortable using it. The Ken onion version w adjustable speeds, and angles makes it much faster to bring and edge back. Especially using chat gpt to help w the plan for different makers and steels.

If you can't justify the cost or work space of a professional knife sander... BUT want it anyways buy this.
It does everything they promised it would do and is very easy to learn.
I love this thing so much and can't wait to one day buy the work bench attachment.

I just received this as a Christmas present and am completely impressed. I have been sharpening knives for years and this is by and large the best sharpening tool I have ever used. Within minutes, my fillet knives were sharp enough to shave with. Every knife in my house is now razor sharp and it took probably 45 minutes to do them all. Simple instructions, lots of videos on youtube, comes with an pretty sweet flow diagram. Would recommend to everyone who sharpens their own cutlery. I just wish it could sharpen my chainsaw........

easy and works great.

Once I got the hang of it sharpening became easier and my knives sharper. I’m on my second one but still use the old one. I don’t have stop and change bands, one with sharpening and the other honing. Great system.

After a few weeks of watching and reading reviews and trying to decide between the KO2 vs the KO2 w/Tool Sharpener, I finally decided on just the KO2 model. I could not be more impressed and pleased with its ease and ability to sharpen. Through the years I’ve had numerous sharpeners, but have never had one that could so easily and consistently produce such a sharp edge. For the few tools I have that may need sharpening, the KO2 is fully capable of meeting the challenge.

I do recommend this sharpener although I would practice with old knives first to get to hang of it. There is a bit of a learning curve to sharpen the knife correctly. Once you get it down you got it.

Compact easy to use and delivers outstanding results even for beginner sharpeners

Got mine at Bass Pro alot cheaper.. so far no problem out of it nice because it has an adjustable pitch for different knives.

Just now got a chance to use my new sharpener. Really like the new set-up for the speed control over the older ken onion model. Nice quality tool! I worked on some wood chisels, great tool to maintain the factory tools edge !

Got this today on a whim while walking around at bass pro shops. Got home read the instructions and hit one of my kitchen knives up. Within five minutes the blade was slicing the receipt. My only regret is not buying one of these sharpeners sooner. I know have a bunch more knives to do but that is easy with this sharpeners. I look forward to slicing some onions and other food items here soon.

Great product. Simple to use for the novice such as myself. Was able to get my hunting knife razor sharp.

While my first sharping unit was a Ken Onion 1 it has been replaced. When a wheel part broke it wasn't worth spending money on repair, so I bought a new sharper the Ken Onion 2. I have used on a couple kitchen knives and its outstanding. The best part is the running speed control. Easy to ensure correct speed for your belts.

A great improvement over the past edition of the Ken Onion sharpener. The belts are easier to change and the biggest improvement is the speed control. So far I’ve used to sharpen three sets of kitchen knives and it worked great.

My knife collection is made up of EDC knives. By following direction and watching the videos (and some practice), I was able to bring my favorites to a very sharp edge. That's something considering the types of steel they're made from. Love it. Buy it!

I always uses two sharpeners, one with the cassette and one with the grinder. Now that I purchased a K.O.2 and found that they were not interchangeable with the two KO#1s that I been using for years, I ordered another K.O.#2. I should receive it the 6 ir7 of July.

It's the most beautiful sharpener I've ever seen
