As a professional knife maker, this 220 grit stone really helps establish the cutting bevel and burr.

They work great. I make knives and sharpen them from a zero edge so I go through these fairly regularly. A good soak with Windex and scrubbing with a toothbrush will revive them when they start clogging up.

Takes the guesswork out of keeping a consistent angle during sharpening. Got backup plates just to always be prepared. Highly recommend.

I just replaced my 220 grit stone, that said I have sharpend at least 30 knives on 1 stone. Great stones

This is the best sharpener ive ever used. It stands up to almost all its claims. I say almost because it lacks blade flex control from blade to blade. It would only take making several different type jaws that could
be awapped out. As it is, i found it useful to use a jig to steady the blade.

Great replacement stone for my old wore out one. Now Work Sharp make some 100-120 grit stones for reprofiling really hard steels.
